A cray week!

HI family! I am sorry I haven't had a ton of time to write you all but know taht I love you all so Much!!

This week has been crazy! I have learned SO much in the last 3 weeks I think more than my whole mission (: not really but It sure has been an adventure! We went on divisions this week with some hermanas and It was a really good experience. I am just going to tell you a few miracles that happened this week because i don't have a ton of time to write. We went to visit this Hermana who went to church that sunday but she hadn't accepted to be baptized. She has had almost all the lessons but she hasn't accepted to be baptized. So we went to visit and the Hermana told me before that this hermana had lost her daughter very recently. So we had planned to talk about the holy ghost and how it would help her recieve an answer to her prayers. But the minute we got there she started talking to us about how she wanted to get married in the Catholic church that it had always been her dream and that she wanted to do it. So we were sitting there and we felt the spirit tell us we needed to talk about temples and eternal marriage. But that was not the plan so i was like no.... Then we stated the lesson with a prayer and I have seriously never felt the spirit so strong in my life. I felt like it hit me in the face and that her daughter was there telling us this is what my mom needs to hear. So we followed that prompting and started talking about the temple. The hermana didn't say anything but she started crying. We said Hermana this is not what we planned to teach you tody but i know that this is what you need to hear. She started crying and said that she new that it was her daughter that told us that she needed to hear that so that she could ilive with her again. So we talked about what you have to do to go to the temple. And we asked her hermana when would you like to go to the temple. And she said tomorrow. ( :haha so we said well you have to be baptized first and wait one year so you pick the day you want to get baptized and one year after you can go do the temple. She said okay I am going to pray for a date (: it was the most spiritual lesson I have ever had.

Also they are teaching this joven who is like 15 years old. He has had a lot of problems but started coming with a friend to the church. He really likes the church. So with him we started talking about the holy ghost and he said that he didn't know if he had gotten an answer. But we asked him at the end of the lesson ( which was extremly spiritual) to pray and ask if this was true and we all knelt down and he said the most heartfelt prayer I have ever heard. He was crying we were crying the member was crying. And he knew that he recieved his answer.

Also another Joven had the same experience. It was crazy the spirit has been so strong. I love feeling the spirit I have never felt the spirit more in my life then in the past year. I can tell the difference and I never want to lose the spirit. It is the greatest feeling. I have learned how to listen to the spirit and how to recognize what he is telling me to do . It has been hard but I know how my heavenly father talks to me.

I just can't tell you how much I love my mission. The time has gone so fast I don't even know how but I love being a missionary with all my heart. It is hard but it is worth it. I have learned that really this is the most important thing in our lives to share the gospel nothing is more important. Also in stake confrence this week Elder Cordon, who is a member of the 70 and is in our ward... .i know right how cool. talked about keeping the sabbath day holy. I am going to send you my notes next week but I want to invite you guys to study about the sabbath day and think about the things we do to keep it holy. He said that it the commandment that the most members break. That it is not just 3 hours but the whole day. Including he said that you should be in you church clothes all day.... I have never heard that before but if a 70 says it it must be what God wants (: haha So maybe try that. It will make a big differance. Also no movies on sunday only church movies. And no TV.... only church stuff. THink about it (:

I love you guys!!! Have a good week!!!

I love being here (: I can't believe that next week I will have a year in the mission. HOw does the time go SO fast.

Hi family (:
Well it hasn't been that long since I talked to you last week so nothing to exciting has been going on. We had a good week. Not as good as it could have been but good. We went to the volcano today (: it wasn't anything to exciting but we had fun.
This week with confrence we were really excited for our investigators to come and listen to the profeta. We had on investigator that came to the saturday afternoon session and she really liked it. We watched the morning one in English so that was nice then the afternoon one in Spanish. Then on Sunday morning we had a lot of people that said they would come but they didn't :( we were a little bummed so we watched it in English and then the computer didn't work very well... but then we decided we are going to have people in the second session. So we went to get some of our investigators and we had 8 people that came to that session! We were so happy! And they all said they really liked it.
Also we did have a crazy miracle happen this week. We met this couple on the street a few days ago and they told us we could come by and visit them. So we called them on Friday and they said they were home and we could come over. So we went and visited them. A little back story We have the goal to have 10 baptisms this month and we have been praying a lot to find a family that is really ready to accept the gospel and that can be baptized this month. A family that is married and ready to read the Book of Morman. So we get to their house and walk in and the first thing we see is a picture of their wedding. They told us they had been married for five years. We started talking and they told us that they have been going to lots of different churches all their lives. So we started teaching the restoration and we both felt impressed to talk about Joseph Smith. He told us that he felt like all of the things we were saying were true and that really we were messengers from God. The Spirit was SO strong! So we finished the lesson and she asked us if we wanted something  to drink and she said Coffee? and we said we don't drink coffee and she said oh me neither. We were like..... wow these people really were prepared! It just really strengthened my testimony to know that Hevenly father is listening to us and that he always answers our prayers.
I love being here (: I can't believe that next week I will have a year in the mission. HOw does the time go SO fast.
Well family I love you! Hope you all have a good week!

Hello family (:

Hello family (:

Well just so you know they change our Pday to today because we went to the temple today. So that is why I didn't write on Monday. How is everyone doing? Sounds like you all had a good week. We had a great week! Seriously I don't think I have ever seen so many miracles in all of my mission.

We have been teaching these kids who are grandkids of some members. They were a refrence from the Bishop. The first time we went the bishop asked them Hey do you want to get baptized on sunday. Obviously we still had to teach them so they couldn't but they are so great. So we have been teaching them for a while. We thought that maybe they could get baptized next month. But then we prayed about it and both felt really strongly that the 2 boys were ready to get baptized now. So we talked to them and the grandparents and went with the ward mission leader to their house. They told us that they were ready to be baptized. And also their sister told us she wanted to get baptized. We were in shock. So we talked a little about baptism and how it is a covenent and how it takes away our sins. And they all said yes I want to get baptized this Sunday. So we called the district leader and the next day they had interviews. Then that Sunday in the morning they were all baptized and confirmed. It was so great to see their Grandparents, who have been members almost all their lives, watch their Grand children get baptized. We know that those kids are going to go on missions and bless other people for generations.

We have been praying really hard that this month we can have 10 baptisms. That we can find 10 people who are really prepared to be baptized. So this week we went with a member who gave us some old papers from the missionaries that had a bunch of numbers and addresses on them. So we decided that we should call them. We called one family and the Dad told us that we could come visit him whenever we wanted. So we decided to go the next day. We went and they told us that they went to church for 8 months but never got baptized. They told us they really like the church and they know A TON of members. So we put a fecha with them and we are going to help them get married this month so they can be baptized. It is a family of 3. Really it just taught me though that the Lord has his time. Maybe they weren't ready before but they are ready. The first lesson we felt very strongly to talk about temples. We talked about how they can have an eternal families. The hermana was crying and you could just feel the spirit so strongly! We know that the Lord is preparing people here in Costa Rica!

Also this week we went with another family of 4 and we hadn't been able to visit them in a while. They are members of another church but we gave them a book of morman las time and they told us they were really interested in reading it. Then we asked them if we could watch the video that the church has out for Easter. Called "Because of Him". I am sure you have seen it. If not go watch it! So we started watching it and she said he someone shared this on our church group message. This is from your church? It was pretty cool to know that other people are really watching the things from the church. After we could bear testimony that really that is the center of our message. That he is the center of our message. That really this is the only true church that Jesus Christ organized and he is at the head of the church. It was a really spiritual experience and we invited them to come to confrence this weekend. (:

We are So excited for confrence! To have the chance to Listen to the Profeta and Apostles of God. How lucky are we! I hope everyone will watch it and invite someone to watch it with them! And try to think about how we can really apply the messages that they are giving because they are really from our father in heaven!

Well family I hope you all have a great week I love you all so much! I am so grateful for the family I have and for the blessings that we have thanks to the Gospel in our lives! I know that we will have an eternal family as long as we try our best and always keep our temple covenants. You guys are the best (:

Love you
