Hi family

Hi family (:  it was so great to talk to you guys on Christmas! I hope you all had a great day! We had a good Christmas here. Didn't really feel to much like Christmas but that's okay. We had kind of a slow but good week.
This week we found a lot of people that really Heavenly Father put in our path. We were looking for one family and we couldn't find their house so we took a short bus ride and then we talked to this lady. Really the family lived before the Parada where we got off but this Lady asked us a bunch of questions and told he she was really interested and wanted to come to church. So we got her number and everything and are going to visit her today. I know that it is something silly that maybe we were a little bit lost but Heavenly Father knows his children. He knows exactly where they are and when we need to find them. I know that is so true.
Also this week we invited a recent convert to come to a lesson with us. She and her Daughter were baptized at the first of the month. She is really such a strong lady. She shared her testimony with our investigadora and she told her that at first she didn't really understand anything because everything was so different then her beliefs but she could feel the spirit when we went to her house. That she felt something different. She told her I still don't know everything But I know that I am where I am supposed to be and I am going to stay there. She is really just so great! It is amazing how you can see the gospel really changing the lives of these people.
Well family I hope you all have a great new years! 2015 how fast did that come?|? I love you all a whole lot....even if you didn't write me this week.... ( mom) (: love you|! have a good day!

Hi family!!! Pues Feliz Navidad!!! (: Yay!! Que rapido paso el tiempo!
I am very excited to talk to you guys this week! I hope everything is going well there. We have had a slow week but we have actually found a few new investigators the past few days who are pretty positive. This week has been REALLY HOT! Like really hot so that has been different. Probably the only Hot christmas I will have in my life.
Well we have been visiting lots of members this week and less active members. Thsi week we were looking for a Less active family that the mom was baptized about 4 months ago so my companion and I dont know here but she is a recent convert. So we have been trying to call her and her family but they never are home or don't answer so we decided one day to just go to her house and see if they were home. We had no idea where she lived so we started looking and asking some people and finally we found there house! We walked up and they were just getting home from the store so they were outside taking things in the house. We asked them if they were the family and they said yes. The hermana was a little not very happy at first. But they invited us in.. So we talked about the atonment a little bit and how it works in our lives and set up another time to come back and visit them. So we put another time and everyone in the ward was saying they wont be there they are going to cancel but they were there (: So we visited them again and they all told us they want to come back to church! So we were really excited about that! The greatest thing is that Heavenly Father just knows his children so perfectly. He knew exactly when we needed to go to their house and what we needed to say to help this family come back to church. I love being a missionary so much!
Also this week we had our christmas activity! We went to the temple it was so great to go and do a session! The temple here is so beautiful! Then we went to a church and had lunch that was SO good! Mashed potatoes and some kind of meet with salad and brownies (: we were in heaven! Then we had a little devotional and listened to President wilkinson talk about christmas. He is awesome I really just love that guy! They also made a really REALLY exciting anouncment that......... THEY ARE OPENING A NEW MISSION IN COSTA RICA!!!! (: yay!!!!! In june they will have a Mision West and  mission East. We are all so stinking excited! He told us that the Apostles were in a meeting where they said they wanted to make 10 new missions this year. Elder Cook said if we could only make one new mission it would be in Costa Rica. Those people are ready for the Gospel. (: We were all so excited!!! And then we got some christmas presents from the Wilkinsons and your chocolates mom (: they were a hit! They told me to tell you thanks so much that was so nice of you!
Well family I hope you are all doing well I love talking to you and hearing about your lives! Your kids are all getting so big! I can't wait to talk to them. Tell them they have to talk to me though they can't be shy (: haha well i love you all so much! Hope you all have a merry christmas!

Full of Miracles

Hi family (:

Well this week has been a pretty rough week but so full of miracles it is not even funny! Where do I even start.....
So we had this family a mom and daughter who were preparing to be baptized this week. They were both progressing really well and they have had a lot of help from the members. They come to church every week and they really love it. But on saturday of course Satan knew that they were going to get baptized and he did not want that all. They had a few problems with one of the member families that they were going to church with so they said they weren't sure if they wanted to get baptized on Sunday. The worst part was because the Hermana, the mom, she said I know I am ready to get baptized I just don't know if I am going to tomorrow. So we didn't really know what to say.... We just sat there for a few minutes in silence and then I said okay Hermana we are going to give you a chapter to read in the book of Mormon and pray and ask your Heavenly Father if you should be baptized tomorrow. She said okay and then we left. We got to our house and both just started crying and prayed for a good while. Then we tried to go to sleep but really I don't think we slept at all. The next morning we called her and she sounded really sick. She told me she had been throwing up all night. That when she is stressed she gets sick. So we went to her house with the Elders. This was at 8:00 and church starts at 9:00. They gave her a blessing and then after I asked her so Hermana what do you want to do. I asked her did you pray last night. She said yes. I asked her and what is your answer? She said that I need to get baptized today. So I said well then VAMOS hermana (: So she got up at like 8:30 and got ready. And all of us went to church! She was SO happy. All of the meetings on Sunday she was just saying "Hey me and my daughter are getting baptized today!" She was so happy! So the baptism went off without a problem! Then after they asked her and her daughter to share their testimony, She just said I am grateful that I have the priviledge to be baptized today. Really it was the most amazing thing that had happened. We put this fecha with her almost a month ago. We were sure that really it was under inspiration and we were fasting for her so that everything would work out.
THis week my testimony has grown so much in that really when we are doing our part the Lord will ALWAYS do his. We might have to work hard or their might be a few minutes when we doubt but he will NEVER doubt us. I know that he knows every single one of us and he has a plan better than we can imagine! I know that really like it says in Ether 12:6 really you don't recieve the witness until after the trail of your faith. But when you recieve the witness your testimony can grow until you have a sure knowledge that the Lord is doing his work. I know that this is the work of the Lord. That he is hastining his work. You can feel it. Everyone is getting ready for him to return to the Earth. What a great opportunity we have to help other people come to the knowledge of the truth! I love the gospel with all my heart! Being a missionary is hard stuff but it is the best thing I have ever done in all my life! I wouldn't change it for the world!
Can't wait to talk to you guys in a few weeks! Love you all a lot!

A VISIT TO THE NATIONAL PARK

Buenas a todos!!! (: Como estan??

I hope that everything is going good! This week was great! We had a goal as a mission to have 200 baptisms this month and WE REACHED IT! We had exactly 200 baptisms :) so everyone was really happy here this week! We got to have an activity yesterday because we reached our goal. So we went to a national park that is like 2 hours away and just hiked to this waterfall and stuff. I put some pictures in the dropbox but they are taking for ever to load so we will see.
We have been working really hard here and trying to find people that really are ready for the Gospel. We have this one investigator and her daughter who are really progressing so well. They should be baptized the next week if everything goes well. :) we are starting to work for January right now because basically everyone is leaving the country for Christmas or they go to the beach.
Changes are this monday.... :( my companion has been her for almost 6 months so we are thinking she will leave but we are praying that she will get to stay for Christmas. If she has to leave I might get a little lost because this area is HUGE and I don't know all of it yet. But I guess we will see what happens.

We did have a few miracles this week. We have this investigador that we have been trying to teach for months. But she is NEVER in her house so it is hard to find her. But she comes to church.... So this Sunday we hadn't talked to her all week when she called us Sunday morning and told us Hey I want to go to church. Where can I meet you guys? So she ended up coming to church. But she didn't have her phone so we were waiting for but she never showed up. So we left and then she was there in another street just waiting for us. It was really the neatest thing!
I just love being a missionary so much. I have learned SO much about really who our Savior is and how much he does for us. I have learned that we don't have to be perfect but if we are trying as ard as we can we are doing enough for him. Oh and for thanksgiving one of our investigators and the ward mission leader made us dinner! We had chicken and potatoes and green beans. So it felt a little like home (:

Well family I love you all a lot! Miss ya like crazy!
